4月13日 Finding My HometownThis post is intent upon locating my hometown on the earth surface. Most of ppl around me know very well that where I was born. The place is a bit famous, and it's a place for ppl to have a nice holiday even the honey moon for new couples. It's interesting that locate the right place from a very high space view. 1. What's this? this is our Earth. From this pic, I hope you may find where is Beijing, and where is Taipei. If you couldn't, what I can do is just recommending you to go back to the geography class of your junior school.
and pay attention to the RED arrow, it roughly indicates the location of my hometown. 2.Yes, the southwest corner of China. Now let's take a closer look in it. this pic mainly pictures the layout of China, where a small stick circled bye a yellow ring is Beijing (pls ignore the Nippon island). Where the red arrow still points to the place where I am from. 3.With a lower eye, you will find Chengdu/Chongqing .... 4.Closer, Guiyang is found. and pls notice the blue/black lakes near the red arrow, we will take a detailed look there. 5.Near the blue lake mentioned above, Kunming appears. 6.Moving the eye toward the direction the red arrow points to, a lake is seen. 7.Again take a closer look, the like is somewhat like an ear, isn't? 8.Zoom in the area, clearly we can see the mountains covered by white snow over the tops. 9.Closer .... 10.Finally, we will see the airport, the city. and approximately, the red arrow is pointing to the village where I was born and growing up before leaving for beijing in 1990's. 4月5日 Say thanks to these ladies and gentlemenFrom the bottom of my heart, I say thanks to:

When we got into the WallStreet office in XingYi road, I found so many guys and gals there sitting around few small desks. Later I knew that they were taking part in the EC of WS, a foreigner was struggling through the gaps btwn those tables and occasionally saying something to the people who were trying to express themself to others in English. I went there just because my MM wants to find a way to improve her English level. At first we were required to fill in some tables, then later a girl bring us to her small cabinet. The lady firstly asked some questions like where are you from/which university did you graduate and so on, then she introduced herself that I knew she is a CC/course consultant. And then, the lady began to analyze why we've learned english longer than ten years but still can't speak it fluently. Basically, she conclued the reason should be -- we have no the ENVIRONMENT. And what WS is doing is to provide such an ENV to the learners. The lady used more than half an hour to get this conclusion while most ppl have already known it.
She asked me what's my opinion on her conclusion, of course, I have to say I agree with you. Then she started to introduce how WS provide such an ENV, firstly the learners will took a level testing to decide which level the learner has reached among the 18 levels WS setup. For an instance, the lady estimated my level will be level 6, if I want to reach level 12(can speak English freely), there are 6 levels I have to pay for, and each level will cost me RMB5000.
Then the key time is coming. She asked what's my opinion on the price? I said if my English could be improved to such a high level really, it's worth to pay the money to WS. The lady, though she kept herself look quiet, was excited, that she thought she would get the deal. Then, she said if I decided at that time and signed a contract, i would be fortunately get nearly 20% discount, b/c I am lucky that it's in the period of anniversary of WS or something.
By then, I knew this lady, who graduated from Fu Dan, and also had a master degree, is completely a seller of WS. And unfortunately she is not a successful seller, at least, she didn't notice it's my MM not me who want to take the course, and she doesn't know I hate sellers very much because recently there're so many ppl trying to selling themself to me and make me feel boring. Though this lady was momentarily emphasizing that she was a CC not a seller, I still found an entire shape of a seller in front of me.
At last, I told her I didn't like the sales way she was using and left there.
